An Introduction

Looking through my first few posts, I realise that I've never actually done an introduction post! How silly of me. So I thought that as I'm still a new blogger I may as well do one now, using the 'Get To Know Me: 21 Questions' tag.

1. Are you named after anyone? Not really. My family liked the name Silje after the Norwegian jazz singer Silje Nergaard, but I'm not sure if that counts.

2. When was the last time you cried? Oh god, I'm a super crier! My boyfriend's away on holiday so I probably had a weep over that.

3. Do you have kids? As someone who has only just graduated high school, nooo.

4. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself? I don't think so, I can be really shy at first, and it takes a pretty confident person to get me to open up before we're close.

5. Do you use sarcasm a lot? An average amount for a teenager. ;)

6. Will you ever bungee-jump? No thanks!

7. What’s your favorite cereal? Fruit loops! That being said, I don't think I've eaten them in four years.

8. What’s the first thing you notice about people? Probably just their appearance in general, whether they look friendly or not.

9. What is your eye colour? Blue.

10. Scary movie or happy endings? Happy, happy, happy!

11. Favorite smells? Vanilla, cardamom, cold mornings, bushy mountain terrain.

12. Summer or winter? Definitely summer, although I love the cosiness of winter. It just doesn't seem worth it if there's no snow, though, and it only snows high up where I live.

13. Computer or television? Computer (it doubles as a TV).

14. What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home? I've been aaall around the world, but I count Norway as home as well as here. Maybe my other home is the furthest away from home? ;)

15. Do you have any special talents? Ultimate procrastination.

16. Where were you born? England.

17. What are your hobbies? Reading, writing, all things crafty (although I never finish my projects).

18. Do you have any pets? We have six pets in our home - two dogs, two cats, two chickens - but only one cat is actually mine.

19. Favourite movie? My all-time favourite is the Lindsay Lohan remake of The Parent Trap and I'm not sure that will ever change.

20. Do you have any siblings? Younger sister.

21. What do you want to be when you grow up? I've always dreamed of being a novelist, and I'm applying to study midwifery at university, but really just as long as I'm happy in what I'm doing. :)
